Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 7, 2008

Dear Journalists,

Attached below please link to article written by Prof. Gustavo Coronel "Security briefingto U.S. Congress staff on Venezuela"

http://www.petroleumworld.com/Lag08110701.htm

This is very important information for President Elect Barack Obama. As an Independent voter, I urge the new officials to please understand what is taking place in Venezuela. Both Democrats, and Republicans must help out Venezuelans to restore democracy in the abused and demoralized nation.

Please know that I wrote the following message and posted it in one of The Washington Post's comments from the readers:

Venezuelans seem very concerned about infamous Hugo Chavez contacting President Elect Barack Obama. Perhaps, Chavez in his pathetic message may think that President Elect Obama may put up with his demoralizing a nation, cocaine leaves consumption, pathetic insults, human right abuses, financially manipulating other leaders in Latin America with major gifts while blocking and/or limiting Venezuelans from international trade, and a long list of other wrong doings. I was troubled to watch Rev. Jesse Jackson not wipe out his tears when we elected our new President, was he just waiting for the cameras to record the tears? Rev. Jackson has met with Chavez in Caracas, and I worry about what his conversations may have been.

President Elect Obama must remember that he is our future president, and while his Democratic domestic programs for all of us are fantastic worth to vote for, his foreign programs need thorough understanding and must be aware of who he will be dealing with. Perhaps, President Elect Obama should seek immediate advice from those who know Hugo Chavez such as U.S. Ambassador Otto Reich. Amb. Reich has witnessed the destruction of Venezuela and could guide President Elect Obama to improve the current political disaster in this abused nation. Also, President Elect Obama should open contact with Colombian U.S. educated leaders who also understand the situation in Venezuela and who have followed Chavez’s behavior and actions.

A Victory for Animal Farm!

Watching the classic film Animal Farm based on George Orwell's powerful satire on Communism where there is so much hostility, pushing over, and hell, I am delighted to inform my blog readers that California has spoken and farm animals will be better off in much better living environments by law!

Please know that one of Chavez's first programs in Venezuela was to caged all chickens removing them from their free living environment to be placed into horrendous living conditions!

Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 5, 2008

Dear Journalists,

Attached below please find opinion article written by Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat from Washington, DC where he is attending an elections seminar at George Washington University. Amb. Taylhardat highlights the civility present within the United States concerning the presidential elections.

http://www.eluniversal.com/2008/11/05/opi_art_dia-de-eleccion_05A2111455.shtml

Perhaps we are all used to how the democratic process takes place every four years, and cannot possibly imagine that only a few miles south of our borders there is Hugo Chavez, a megalomaniac leader who has destroyed a country, and the soul of the people who live in fear and hopelessness in a once lovely, dynamic and progressive nation.

Elected President Barack Obama is an intelligent, educated, and brilliant man and his attention must be directed in protecting the abused nation of Venezuela. Please know that pathetic Chavez is trying to make contact with new elected officials. I worry about the Democratic officials who have traveled to Venezuela to meet with the infamous dictator, and must remind every one, and all the re-elected officials that Venezuelans need help to restore democracy in Venezuela and end corruption.

A Brutal Slaying Shocks Venezuelans

Dear Journalists,

Yesterday, a horrible brutal slaying took place in Caracas where the granddaughter, and daughter of former beloved Venezuelan President Raul Leoni were attacked at their home. The granddaughter was killed, and his daughter is in intensive care.

All my prayers go for Venezuelans to be able to recuperate a good quality of life with democracy, and free of corruption.

Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 3, 2008

Dear Journalists,

"Guilty verdict in Venezuelan suitcase trial"
By Jay Weaver
http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking-news/story/754224.html

Franklin Durán on Monday afternoon was found guilty of conspiracy and acting as an unregistered government agent for Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez.

On the eve of the U.S. President Election, infamous Chavez expressed himself on a derogatory way towards Senator Barack Obama as explained on the link below:

http://english.eluniversal.com/2008/11/03/en_pol_esp_hugo-chavez-willing_03A2109645.shtml

Humm, I wonder how Senator Obama's officials who have visited Chavez in the last few years would feel about his racist comments. Venezuelan's must keep in mind that Senator Obama is a highly educated man, excelled in Harvard Law School to the point of becoming editor of Harvard Law Review, and other achievements, so Chavez's outrageous comments should be just another embarrassment for Venezuelans.

In other matters, Poland's former leader and Peace Prize Laureate Lech Walesa has been told that his safety while visiting Venezuelan can not be guaranteed by Chavez. Mr. Walesa was invited to talk to students concerning democracy. Students have been protesting in the last few days in Caracas with invited European parliamentarians.

Venezuelans need help from developed governments and international organizations to restore democracy and end corruption.
