Most Venezuelans are respecting the campaign blockage as ordered by the infamous Chavez. There have been a few lapses from the Chavez's TV network VTV, and there have been harassment against opposition officials where four were arrested for no obvious reason, but later released as reported by the following link:
Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 22, 2008
Dear Journalists,
Preparing for the upcoming municipal elections scheduled to take place on November 23, Venezuelans are anxiously e-mailing, and requesting assistance for the integrity of the so infamous Chavez's electoral process system. There are reports that Chavez's officials allegedly have been violating the campaign restrictions as indicated in the attached link:
http://www.rethinkvenezuela.com/press/11-20-08pr.html At this time, people are still outraged that Chavez seized the television networks for his political talks while the population was in danger during the severe storm devastating the city as described by Journalist Eleonora Bruzual in her radio talk show yesterday:
Cerrada la Campaña Electoral con las lluvias azotándonos y un Chávez mostrando su insensibilidad y su maldad
http://www.gentiuno.com/articulo.asp?articulo=7094 In the ludicrous side, there is one e-mail circulating with the announcement made by one of Chavez's officials during a press conference following the huge storm stating (rough translation) that the city's streets water sewers have not been cleared for long time thus draining is impossible. This is while Chavez buys satellites, and cares about other nations.
Venezuelans need help from developed governments and international organizations to restore democracy and end corruption.
Breaking News: Chavez seizes TV networks in the middle of a huge storm
Venezuelan citizens in Caracas are currently experiencing a huge damaging storm where the rivers in the city are going to overflow including disgusting El Guaire! People are stocked in major traffic jams by the river as reported by Venezuelan press:
In the meantime, Chavez has seized the television networks talking politics. Perhaps he may believe that this is it! He may remember December 1999, and now just before the municipal elections the rains arrive. Humm, perhaps it may be a sign that the opposition may win!

Dear Journalists,
Venezuelans are preparing to vote on November 23. This may be a routine act for those of us living in democracies, but Venezuelans are facing a very hostile situation where they fear that their vote would be cheated out by Chavez. As has happened in the past, Chavez's alleged own e-voting company Smartmatic is the one processing the votes. Further, the military handles the ballots, and Chavez has threatened to take out the military artillery with tanks and all sorts of gadgets if the opposition candidates were to win the municipal elections. Below please find some of the videos shown in Chavez's government television station which may intimidate voters to vote for the opposition:
Updated: Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 16, 2008
Dear Journalists,
While Venezuelans prepare for upcoming municipal elections, they were appalled by a Chavez's supporter concert with a grotesque, satirical, offensive and pathetic show that ended up with Molotov bombs and total destruction of the area:
The following link is showing how the Avenue Francisco de Miranda in Caracas was left after the Chavista Ska-p concert:
http://www.urru.org/fotos/0_2008/20081115_BasuraConciertoChavista.htm The performers overlooked to criticize Chavez and his thugs, so there was no mention of fraud, support for terrorists, animal cruelty through Santeria, individuals becoming filthy rich by blocking honest Venezuelan citizens from trade, and a complete abuse of power. There was no mention of Chavez's realistic satellite Powerpoint presentation that has been circulating in the Internet showing the very poor in Venezuela with horrible living conditions, hungry, and other tragedies while Chavez spends money buying a fantastic satellite.
Please know that at Universidad Simon Bolivar Duran Duran and Maroon 5 also performed, but to an educated crowd:
http://www.unionradio.net/Noticias/Noticia.aspx?noticiaid=261895 There will be municipal elections in Venezuela scheduled for November 23. Hopefully by this time world observers would know the cheating tactics allegedly applied by electronic voting, and manipulation of votes overseen by the Carter Center.
