Lack of Power - October 3, 2007
How a does a megalomaniac get over his lack of power? By setting back the time by thirty minutes. This is exactly what Chavez is doing in Venezuela. He may have a point concerning the children not having to wait thirty minutes in the dark at the bus stop. But, what about changing the schools and office times to start thirty minutes later?
What ever the mental state of infamous Chavez the fact is that he is powerless to confront the crime and violence that rule Venezuela. Thus, he is changing the time to show what a powerful leader he is!
Chavez should see himself in the mirror and see what an embarrassment he is to Venezuelans. Sadly, Chavez only sees those who support him and adulate as long as money, and good government jobs come their way. Chavez does not see that most than half of the Venezuelan population is affected by his wacky behavior. (Please read previous postings in my blog).
Perhaps Chavez is watching infamous and abusive Senior General Than Shwe in Burma (Myanmar), and may see how human rights mean nothing under the hands of a megalomaniac leader. Just a mirror picture of April 11, 2002 in Caracas where innocent and unarmed protesters were killed by Chavez's supporters. This is in addition to two massacres that took place in Caracas where his alleged supporters shot and killed innocent protesters as shown in the links in reference below.
Cordially,
