Rogue state

Dear Journalists,

In case you missed it, the anticipated report from the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) of the United Kingdom is out and the news of Hugo Chavez and FARC relationship is a matter of fact as most followers of the situation in Venezuela had known for years:

IISS: The FARC financed Chávez before 1999

It seems that dictators are taking leave of absences together. Hugo Chavez has cancelled his weekly abusive- seizing of the networks for May 15 apparently because of the recent knee injury.

Hugo Chavez says he may undergo knee surgery after injury while jogging in Venezuela

Muammar Qaddhafi is in hiding avoiding NATO bombs, Ahmanidejah boycotted his official duties for more than one week and Hugo Chavez is resting away from the cameras. (hmmm)

Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat alerted in his opinion column about Hugo Chavez’s restructuring the Venezuelan Foreign Service into a deposit of his friends and spies. I wonder if the new diplomats will be all walking around wearing expensive latex disguises.

A propósito de la reforma de la Ley del Servicio Exterior

Venezuelans need the aid from world leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.
