No Shame!

Dear Journalists,

One of the saddest situations brought up by Hugo Chavez’s authoritarian government is the fact that allegedly Chavez himself, and all the people around him have lost all shame. The April 19’s independence celebration brought to Venezuela a list of adulators, and others intimidated and working under duress to allow the infamous leader to continue to provide funding. Please know that the funding is for other nations and not for Venezuelans. Venezuelans struggle each day in the work place trying to live with a restraining inflation and outrageous foreign exchange controls. Most of Venezuelans have to wait weeks or months living uncertainty if the government office of CADIVI will allow the funds requested to conduct businesses. Others reach out to the black market losing most of their money to border line extortion.

While Hugo Chavez continues to willingly neglect the quality of life of Venezuelan citizens, some experts call him mentally ill. I wonder what expert profilers have defined Hugo Chavez. Perhaps Hugo Chavez is a lunatic, or a thug, or both. However, the current situation in Venezuela should bring more shame to all foreign countries who have the means to assist Venezuelans and have failed to do so, and only allowing Hugo Chavez to get more powerful each day!

The following articles were dominating the news in Venezuela during this week:

Ex-general: Cubans involved in Chavez's military

Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat wrote opinion article TPL commenting on Chavez’s mental stability if any:
