Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 4, 2006

Dear Journalists,

While Venezuelan Opposition Candidate Manuel Rosales seems to be gathering a lot of supporters, the fact that Chavez's may have ways to cheat the e-voting results using his infamous Smartmatic machines is worrying a lot of people. It is imperative that the international observers act with police intervention if needed to allow Venezuelans to hold democratic elections free of cheating and corruption.

The infamous speech by Chavez's Energy and Petroleum Minister to oil workers is causing outrage in Venezuela. Please know that a few years ago, there was a U.S. State Department memorandum circulating showing the amounts of money that Chavez's direct supporters had at the time in the United States banks surpassing several dozen millions of dollars each.

All your cooperation in questioning international observers about how to protect Venezuelans against corrupted e-voting machines, perhaps already pre-programmed to give the winning edge to Chavez, will be greatly appreciated.

Cordially,

Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 3, 2006

Dear Journalists,

Who has the authority to verify that Venezuelans indeed may have democratic elections? Are Venezuelans doomed to have more years with Chavez?

All the cooperation of good willing international organizations is urged to please allow democratic elections in Venezuela. Please do not have the Carter Center involved because Venezuelans do not trust the Center nor former President Jimmy Carter.

Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 1, 2006

Dear Journalists,

Attached below please find link to article written by Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat stating his concern about the transparency of the upcoming presidential elections in Venezuela. He states that international observers are blocked from stating opinion, and have other obstacles.

http://opinion.eluniversal.com/2006/11/01/opi_685_art_01A798415.shtml

A respetable source from Venezuela says concerning the United States' government investigation of Smartmatic Corporation, that what is more troubling is the fact that Hugo Chavez contracted Smartmatic to serve as the e-voting software in charge of the 2004 Recall Referendum in Venezuela. That is at the time when the company had no funding, no previous e-voting experience, and the contract was granted without bids from other qualified companies.

Venezuela's Political Disaster - October 29, 2006

Dear Journalists,

The New York Times reports that the United States is investigating Smarmatic Corporation, the infamous e-voting software company involved in Chavez's alleged fraudulent Recall Referendum in 2004 as indicated in the resources below.

"The inquiry is focusing on the Venezuelan owners of the software company, the Smartmatic Corporation, and is trying to determine whether the government in Caracas has any control or influence over the firm’s operations, government officials and others familiar with the investigation said."

U.S. Investigates Voting Machines’ Venezuela Ties:

Spanish version:
http://www.eluniversal.com/2006/10/29/pol_ava_29A797375.shtml

Please read my blog postings dated June 6, 2006 and June 11, 2006 for information related to the Smartmatic investigation.

Venezuelans fear that Chavez may cheat the e-voting results for the upcoming presidential elections scheduled to take place on December 3, 2006. There are reports that Chavez is intimidating oil workers to vote for him as reported by Aleksander Boyd editor of
www.vcrisis.com in the next link:

http://www.vcrisis.com/index.php?content=letters/200610252226

It is imperative the international election observers are aware of claims of possible election fraud in Venezuela. There are rumors that Chavez allegedly placed limits on how many votes for the Opposition were to be tabulated in the 2004 Recall Referendum thus giving the winning numbers to him.
