Venezuela's Political Disaster August 19 2006
While pictures of infamous Chavez visiting Fidel Castro in Habana, Cuba have been showing throughout this week in the international media, it is of utmost importance to know that Chavez's admiration for Castro is his own whim and does not represent the view of the general population of hostage Venezuelan citizens.
There have been numerous e-mails from Venezuelans circulating the Internet blasting Chavez for his relationship with Castro. The cries are about Chavez wasting Venezuelans' money, including allegedly buying Castro a private jet and other major gifts, and the threat of Chavez trying to take Castro's place. Some comments go as far as comparing the infamous friendship to the recent movie Brokeback Mountain.

In the meantime, there are Venezuelan personalities warning that Chavez may try to take over Venezuela if he were to lose the presidential elections in December 2006. If this would be the case, all the international organizations are urged to actively assist hostage Venezuelans in this terrible situation.
