Venezuela's Political Disaster - May 19, 2006
Dear Journalists,
Even though the U.S. State Department announced a ban of arms sales to Venezuela because officials believe that country's leftist government is not being helpful in combating terrorism Venezuelans remain Chavez's hostages. The good news is that there is also media interest in trying to bring a solution to the crisis in Venezuela.
The Wall Street Journal (www.wsj.com) published today article written by Mary Anastasia O'Grady. "Latin America's New Imperialism" which gives ideas of how to solve the Chavez issue.
Jack Wheeler, PhD wrote article "Bad News for Hugo", May 18, 2006, Behind the Lines on www.tothepointnews.com which analyses the current situation.
J. Michael Waller, PhD wrote article "When our allies arm our adversaries: What to do when diplomacy fails, The case of Spanish military sales to Venezuela" Posted: Tuesday, May 2, 2006:

The terrible news is that Chavez is loaded with oil money and therefore is buying anyone who is for sale.

Just for the Record
To Whom It May Concern:
I am an Independent voter since I vote for causes and individuals. I can not see myself joining a political party nor a religion since I usually do not agree with either one hundred percent. It is easier for me to be a liberal in an civilized society as it is very hard for me to be a liberal in a nation where development and values are disorganized.
