Venezuela's Political Disaster - August 4, 2007

Dear Journalists,

While actor Sean Penn tours Venezuela hosted by infamous Chavez as reported by The Washington Post, I wonder if the talented Penn is aware of the quality of life of Venezuelans. Since Penn is touring agriculture sites, it is imperative that he learns that Chavez uses obsolete and cruel farming processes. That is, Chavez took free and happy roaming chickens and placed them all on 8' x 11" cages for the rest of their lives. Also, diminishing the quality of food that animal eaters were used to have.

Next please find video prepared by the British organization Compassion in World Farming advancing animal welfare which describes the type of cruelty treatment that Chavez is allegedly enforcing to innocent animals:

Updated: Venezuela's Political Disaster - August 2, 2007

Dear Journalists,

In memory of all dogs killed in animal fighting, May the full force of the law eradicate this senseless practice.

Venezuelans continue to protest to defend freedom of speech. By miracle the high court finally authorized Radio Caracas Television (RCTV) to broadcast by cable television:

Internationalist Maruja Tarre compares in the article "Peligrosas Semejanzas" the Indonesian oil company Pertamina with Venezuelan oil company PDVSA, and how in 1973 Pertamina was a victim of its own corruption:

Blogger and former director of PDVSA Pedro Mario Burelli was interviewed by Journalist Marianna Parraga of El Universal. Mr. Burelli says that PDVSA will not get over the political shock.
