Dear Journalists,

Among the many infamous definitions that apply to Hugo Frias Chavez is traitor. Chavez has allegedly manipulated election results in order to keep himself in power only to aid and represent Fidel Castro, and build his own empire controlling Bolivia, Nicaragua, and other nations vulnerable to this kind of abuse. (It seems that Fidel Castro is the change management consultant for Chavez.)

It is ludicrous to hear Chavez’s officials complain following the visit to Washington, D.C. of one of Venezuela’s former governors to give conferences at the Hudson Institute and other organizations blasting Interpol and the United States for allowing such a visit. Chavez’s officials must learn the Interpol, and civilized nations do not endorse political persecutions.

The following article “Una alianza contra-natura” written by Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat criticizes Chavez’s dream to call Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Iran as soul mate. Nevertheless, Iranian and Venezuelan oppositions seem to be fighting the same evils.

Please keep in mind that Hugo Chavez does not represent the majority of Venezuelans’ values nor idiosyncrasy and the press should stop referring Chavez’s outrageous and embarrassing comments as Venezuela. Chavez is just a deranged leader taking advantage of his position of power which has become illegal. International organizations and world leaders should stop recognizing Hugo Chavez as a democratically elected individual.

Venezuelans need help to restore democracy.
