RE: Venezuela's Political Disaster - December 10, 2005

Dear Journalists,

Attached below please find link to article written by VCrisis' Editor Aleksander Boyd reporting Chavez's reaction to the preliminary reports made by the Organization of American States and the European Union Election Observation Mission following the infamous Parliamentary Elections that took place in Venezuela on December 4 and the crooked Smartmatic voting machines:

http://www.oas.org/main/main.asp?sLang=E&sLink=/OASpage/eng/latestnews/latestnews.asp

The EU Election Observation Mission to Venezuela, Parliamentary Elections 2005, Preliminary Statement reads:

"The violations observed in the last phase of the campaign were mainly carried out by pro-government parties"

http://www.eueomvenezuela.org/pre_statement_en.pdf

It is imperative that Venezuelans will be able to carry out the Preliminary Recommendations as suggested by the European Union and the Organization of American States and that a more aggressive resolution to reestablish democracy in Venezuelan is implemented.

RE: Venezuela's Political Disaster - December 7, 2005

Dear Journalists,

I would like to post International Analyst Pedro Mario Burelli's statement concerning the elections that took place in Venezuela on December 4, 2005:

"THESE ELECTIONS DID NOT MEET THE MINIMUM INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS IN TERMS OF
FAIRNESS AND TRANSPARENCY, AND THEREFORE…THEY SHOULD BE DECLARED NULL AND VOID."
http://pmbcomments.blogspot.com/

Mr. Burelli's statement reflects the sentiments of at least 75% Venezuelans who refused to vote on a election where the vote was not secret.

Attached below please find comments made by Journalist Ana Julia Jatar reporting that not only were public officials ordered to vote or be fired, but Chavez supporters were making telephone calls urging citizens to vote (under duress, of course).

RE: Venezuela's Political Disaster - December 5, 2005

Dear Journalists,

It is obvious that what took place in Venezuela yesterday where candidates stepped out of an election where the vote was not secret and citizens refused to vote was a plebiscite. Venezuelans are outraged of the permanent abuse of power, show off, wasting of money, corruption, disinformation, and other major abuses by Chavez and supporters.

So, what are the international observers going to decide? Would they say that Chavez's party won honestly? Where officials were forced to vote under duress or else they would be fired from their jobs. Or that the Venezuelan people silently in a 75% majority rejected Chavez? It is about time that observers tell the truth and expose what is happening in Venezuela under Chavez's forceful regime.

Venezuelans need the help of international organizations to restore democracy.

Attached below please find link to report about the Venezuelan bloggers' work during the December 4 forceful election?

Venezuela's Political Disaster - December 4, 2005

Dear Journalists,

As of lunch time in Venezuela, word is that is pouring rain in Caracas and most citizens are home watching the news. None of my loved ones would go and vote in an election allegedly surrounded by fraud.

Attached below please read report written by Aleksander Boyd "High abstention in Venezuela's Assembly elections; or is it a plebiscite?:

http://www.vcrisis.com/index.php?content=letters/200512040816

Following please read comments titled "Surreal News" written by Analyst Alexandra Beech in her blog:

http://www.alexbeech.blogspot.com/

Please know that there are reports that public officials who choose not to vote will be fired from their jobs as reported in the next link:

http://www.globovision.com/news.php?nid=15431

There are more details about this report in article "Disrobing the Emperor" written by International Analyst Pedro Mario Burelli's blog:

www.pmbcomments.com

The following link is to report that is circulating the Internet in Venezuela, and I have received copies from different distribution lists, consisting of how the person in charge of the voting center allegedly accepted a invitation by infamous "Smartmatic" which is a conflict of interest:

In the meantime, civil association Sumate is calling for every one to go to church and pray for peace:

Next is cartoon by Roberto Weil:

This remind me at one of the protests in 2004 in front of The White House in Washington, DC, a friend told me that she cries in every protest. After following the protesters and also hearing their prayers I found myself crying.

Please know that I will be writing updates in my blog as indicated below.
