Where is the international help for Venezuelans?

Dear  Journalists,
Venezuelan unarmed protesters including opposition leaders in Caracas were brutally assaulted on May 29, 2017 by dozens of heavily armed National Guards. Protesters were almost asphyxiated by tear gas, and then were physically attacked. There were around 250 injured and some were badly hurt.
There are reports that Maduro has brought into Venezuela hundreds of mercenaries from Cuba and other nations who attack and kill protesters. The amount of protesters killed increased to sixty-two.There are hundreds of protesters detained and injured. Protesters are the large majority of citizens demanding  immediate presidential elections to restore democracy. However, they are overpowered by corrupt law enforcement officials. Why are not international governments helping Venezuelans restore democracy? This is the right time to help them!

Venezuelans need international intervention

At fifty-one days of protests the Venezuelan opposition needs international intervention. It seems that United States Congress is acting on identifying dictatorship’s thieves who took over US$300 billion and that are spread out worldwide from Australia to perhaps Zambia and nations in between. Venezuelans are grateful that President Trump is taking action against the dictatorship in Venezuela. As an Independent voter who voted passionately for Hillary Clinton always knew that the GOP would take  action to restore democracy in Venezuela. Democrats are excellent, but seem to have disregarded Venezuela.
As you may have already viewed horrendous images of crimes against humanity in Venezuela it is amazing that Venezuelan protesters keep on going and are determined to restore democracy. Nevertheless, protesters are defending themselves with rocks, card board shields, poupoutovs and other almost prehistoric tools while the dictatorship attacks with robocops, tons of tear gas, and other weapons. It has been reported dictartoship’s snipers on building roofs and soldiers shooting at residents in the safety of their homes.
Please help Venezuelans by sending United Nations peace keeping units and have all international leaders help in every way possible. Venezuelans must restore democracy,

Where is the American reporting of Venezuela’s urgent situation?

Dear Journalists,
Venezuelan unarmed protesters are being attacked and executed by military, paramilitaries and other government forces. Yesterday, a peaceful 17 year old protester was assassinated by the police. Malicious rumors like death of beloved political prisoners were spread out to anguish citizens. All the abuses are taking place while pathetic Nicolas Maduro is shown dancing non-stop. Citizens report that the police officers have Cuban accents.
Venezuelans worldwide are reaching out to local governments for help. France24 in the middle of presidential elections dedicates large coverage to the brutal situation in Venezuela. The BBC is also reporting all events. The Washington Post is providing excellent reports from the Associated Press. Reuters and other news have reporters in Caracas and throughout the nation.
However, in the United States of America, television networks seem to be ignoring or minimizing the situation in Venezuela. Therefore, there is no pressure to legislators to take action to defend unarmed Venezuelans who are hostages of a brutal dictatorship. Please help Venezuelans restore democracy!

Trump et at PLEASE HELP VENEZUELANS

Dear Journalists,
Venezuelans need help to restore democracy. Before the nation was split with the opposition and Chavistas. Now everyone seems to be against Maduro and thugs. The shortages of basic food, medicines, and needs have affected everyone.
The protests that started on April 19, 2017 have shown how cruel the government is disregarding innocent lives and sacrificing protesters to intimidate civilians. The highly educated opposition leaders are threatened by government officials and some are jailed.
Venezuela is rich on oil and  other minerals and need to update to better energy resources. At this time, Petroleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA) is in chaos as reported by experts. The government has drained businesses to close and crime and violence rule everywhere.
It is of utmost importance that current world leaders intervene and help Venezuelans be free from this abuse. Many government officials are on lists of criminals by  international law enforcement.
Please help Venezuelans to restore democracy and have a sustainable good quality of life.
The current protests in Venezuela prompted me to write on this blog. I had stopped writing frustrated by the lack of action or support from powerful nations. I have limited  my calls by notifying VIPs through Twitter.

Venezuela’s gov wacky priorities

Dear Journalists,
Rather that wacky, perhaps pathetic priorities, would describe the recently reported actions that Nicolás Maduro has taken.
Just last week following the devastating 7.8 earthquake in Ecuador, the Venezuelan government sent food and medicines to the victims in Ecuador. This action was taken even if Venezuelan citizens are lacking basic foods and medicines. Venezuelans must make dangerous lines to get basic needs where people have been assaulted and some have died.
The newspaper El Nacional reported that the Venezuelan government sells energy to Brazil seven times less expensive that the international rate (http://www.el-nacional.com/economia/Venezuela-energia-Brasil-precio-internacional_0_832716883.html). At this time, the government started to limit electricity to citizens cutting off supply about four hours daily. Perhaps, corruption, ineptness, or ignorance have blocked the government from using alternative energies like wind and solar power.
The Washington Post’s editorial Venezuela is in desperate need of a political intervention (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/venezuela-is-in-desperate-need-of-a-political-intervention/2016/04/12/d7071d98-00c9-11e6-9203-7b8670959b88_story.html) explains the disastrous situation in the abused nation. Retired Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat wrote opinion adding to the Washington Post’s editorial (http://www.el-nacional.com/adolfo_taylhardat/editorial-The-Washington-Post_0_832716778.html) explaining total corruption.
THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES MUST ENFORCE THE DEMOCRATIC CHARTER IN VENEZUELA!
The International Court of Justice, busy at it is, should make time to prosecute Hugo Chavez’s thugs who survived him for abuse of power, fraud, and more fraud if the alleged algorithms and open violation of the vote are true.
Venezuelans need help from world leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to assure the safety of the opposition leaders, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Venezuela sent food aid to Ecuador!

Dear Journalists,
My thoughts and prayers are with the people from Ecuador after the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake of April  16, 2016. I read and watched on CNN that the Venezuelan government had sent food aid to the earthquake victims. Under regular circumstances I would applaud this action.  However, I  got very upset after following the cries and complaints from loved ones in Venezuela who are not able to get food, nor basic needs at the empty grocery stores.
I posted on Twitter:
Irresponsible Venezuelan gov sending food aid to Ecuador after earthquake‼ Venezuelans have no food nor basic needs!
Some readers called me a person with lack of compassion. I am aware that most of the world population do not follow the political disaster in Venezuela and it became difficult to explain on Twitter.
Please know that most of Venezuelans must make outrageous lines to get food supplies, and basic needs. Only a minority upper class can buy supplies through “bachaqueros” who bring food to their homes at a much higher price.
Infamous Nicolas Maduro who is overweight, and as  reported does not have a high school education, rushed to send food aid to Ecuador instead of looking out after Venezuelan citizens. In 2008 under late Hugo Chavez hundreds of tons of food went to waste after the inept import laws kept food inside containers until it spoiled rotten.
Venezuelans need help from world leaders to assure the safety of the opposition leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Venezuela: Beyond Corruption

Dear Journalists,
Following President Obama’s announcement of sanctions against seven prominent Venezuelan officials responding to the South American government's increasingly violent actions (http://money.cnn.com/2015/03/09/news/economy/united-states-sanctions-venezuela) Maduro promoted the infamous individuals.
Maduro engaged in a disinformation campaign stating that the United States attacked Venezuela and collected signatures from school children, prisoners, military, etc.
Currently, Maduro has very low popularity where some reports of 13 percent approval ratings. On April 18, 2015 a call to support for Maduro in Maracay was a total loss where no one showed up as reported by @Hesus_Petit. It was revealed that Hugo Chavez used to bring “supporters” to protest in Caracas from all over Venezuela by paying $60.00 equivalent  and providing red t-shirts to those who participated.
Venezuela is a ecological disaster where the government has neglected all environmental areas. International organizations should impose major penalties for environmental destruction.
A Venezuelan humanitarian organization based in Miami http://www.ayudahumanitariavenezuela.org/english.html is allegedly ran by Nicolas Maduro’s relatives living in Florida, and/or is directly linked to them.
Maduro is keeping prominent political figures as political prisoners because they disagree with his rhetoric. The immediate release of @leopoldolopez @alcaldeledezma is urgent. Please visit @liliantintori.
Venezuelans need help from world leaders to assure the safety of the opposition leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Someone please explain …

Dear Journalists and VIPs,
Someone please explain how in the world Venezuela has won a sit in the United Nations Security Council.
Watching the pictures of those who attended the voting there are some who have been reported having their assets frozen in Swiss banks. For the last several years there have been reports of outrageous amounts of money owned by those few individuals in the pictures. Then, there were reports of a US$13,000 tip to a Nello’s Restaurant waiter in New York City, and a luncheon with several foreign ambassadors at Le Cirque Restaurant in the same city during the United Nations General Assembly all paid by the large Venezuelan delegation to the UN. There was also the presence of infamous Hugo Chavez’s daughter who has been reported allegedly living unofficially at the Casona, Venezuelan presidential residence, and a huge property in Argentina, and has moved to NYC.
In the meantime, Venezuelan citizens are traumatized, or suffer from post traumatic stress, or are terrified because of the out-of-control violence in the nation, lack of quality of life they once had, and lack of all basic needs including food and medicines. Loved ones have died because medicines were not available for easily treatable illnesses. Their businesses are not able to keep up with the absurd laws, and their credit have been ruined because of pathetic foreign exchange controls.
Did the Venezuelan officials pay those in the European Parliament to vote for them?  Are the members of the EU unaware of the situation in Venezuela?
Those who voted to have Venezuela in the prestigious United Nations Security Council should move and live in Venezuela as regular citizens without body guards, and without individual food and medicine shipments for their needs. Knowing the European idiosyncrasy those individuals would be marching protesting big time.
Venezuelans need help from world leaders to assure the safety of the opposition leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

US$13,000 tip to NYC waiter from Nicolás Maduro

Dear Journalists,
In case you missed it, Venezuelans have suffered and struggle daily to buy foreign currencies and have seen their quality of life deteriorate to the worst possible situation. Then, news followers received notices during the United Nations General Assembly that the illegitimate leader of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro and a group of friends went to New York City’s Nello’s Restaurant where the dinner cost around $80,000  plus the $13,000 tip to the waiter.
In different times, this dinner event and expense would have gone unnoticed; however, after suffering big time imposed austerity by the infamous illegitimate leader and followers this dinner has made everyone furious.
In addition to the dinner, sources have reported earnings paid by Petróleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) to late Hugo Chavez’s family surpassing eight figures in foreign currencies. Other few individuals who have become very rich during this horrible administration can be found at http://infodio.com/
No wonder these infamous people in power have imposed themselves to Venezuelans keeping them as hostages suffering daily abuse with lack of basic foods, medicines, safety, lack of basic products for every need.
The International Court of Justice, busy at it is, should make time to prosecute Hugo Chavez’s thugs who survived him for abuse of power, fraud, and more fraud if the alleged algorithms and open violation of the vote are true.
Venezuelans need help from world leaders to assure the safety of the opposition leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

United Nations: Venezuela’s hypocrisy BIG TIME!

Dear Journalists,
Switzerland has allegedly frozen US$7 billion on Venezuela’s assets from oil company Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) and/or official Rafael Ramirez. (http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/world-report/2014/09/15/venezuela-doesnt-deserve-a-seat-on-the-un-security-council)
Infamous Hugo Chavez’s daughter wants to work for the United Nations in New York City. Most likely with her allegedly several figures assets in bank accounts she may be bored sick of living in Venezuela where there is not quality of life, nor basic goods like food, safety, medicines, and anything to live a normal life style. Capitalists living off implementing a bad version of socialism in Venezuela! She should have the decency to announce Chavez's real date of death.
While Venezuelan citizens including the pet population suffer from lack of basic needs Chavistas prefer to live abroad where they can enjoy life and shop at quality grocery stores and other businesses.
A special thanks to President Barack Obama for supporting freedom to hero political prisoner Leopoldo López @Leopoldolopez @Lilianatintori (his wife).
Venezuelans need help from world leaders to assure the safety of the opposition leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Insólito - Opinion article by Ambassador Adolfo R. Taylhardat

Dear Journalists,
The following is opinion article written by former Venezuelan
Ambassador Adolfo R. Taylhardat.
He had a weekly column at El Universal newspaper, but
El Universal was bought by the Venezuelan government and seems to be blocking freedom
 of speech.
Article !Insólito¡ is about the release from detention of the Venezuelan
general that is wanted by the U.S. Department of Treasury

Is Venezuela a Narco State?

Dear Journalists,
The events that took place last week with the United States of America, Venezuela, and the Netherlands left many questions open. Perhaps you can find the answers.
The U.S. Department of Treasury issued a press release dated 9/12/2008 titled Treasury Targets Venezuelan Government Officials Supporting the FARC:
One of the generals sought was caught in the island of Aruba last week where the Venezuelan government had sent him as Consul, but he had not yet secured diplomatic immunity. There was a heated discussion, and the Netherlands released the individual from detention.
Roberta Jacobson, Assistant Secretary of State, @WHAAsstSecty, wrote that “The release of Carvajal is a misapplication of diplomatic immunity, and makes a mockery of that important principle”.
There are reports that Venezuela was going to send battle ships to Aruba to ensure the release of the pending diplomat. The Washington Post reported that there were threats behind release of Venezuelan general.
Aruba Says Venezuela Raised Military Pressure on It
So, what has become of Venezuela? I worry that the International Criminal Court of Justice in the Hague has become a joke.
Venezuelans need help from world leaders to assure the safety of the opposition leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Expert opinion article rejected by El Universal newspaper

Dear Journalists,

The situation in Venezuela has deteriorated beyond recognition. It is hard to write about all the abuses against civilians and the nation and that is the reason why recently I just tweet the most outrageous events. However, former Venezuelan Ambassador Adolfo R. Taylhardat contacted his readers to inform that his recent opinion article was rejected by newspaper El Universal that was recently bought by the government.

Indulgencia con escapulario ajeno
Adolfo R. Taylhardat

#SOSVENEZUELA Dictatorship & Twitter

Dear Journalists,

This morning I posted on Twitter video shown below from a college student responding to infamous Rafael Ramirez, who is the head of oil company Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), (http://www.pdvsa.com), or has a new title as Vice President of Economy, where the student asked him to resign his post.
#SOSVENEZUELA Estudiante explica a R. Ramírez! EXCELENTE!
Please know that I sent the video to the usual Twitter addresses, and to some VIPs who have shown support for Venezuela’s opposition.
However, my Twitter account was suspended again! Twitter told me that someone reported my posting as spam. It could be that dictatorial government illegitimate officials considered my post as spam.
Twitter should verify who is reporting spam, and stop abuse of power from certain users.
United Nations Peacekeeping helps countries torn by conflict create the conditions for lasting peace. We are comprised of civilian, police and military personnel. Please send the blue helmets to Venezuela.

The OAS seems hopelessly led by a majority of ulterior motives individuals.

SHAME & DISINFORMATION PROVIDED BY JOURNALIST

Dear Journalists,

The following is URL to my blog2 where a concerned citizen wrote open letter to Journalist Walter Martinez. I received by a source in Venezuela video of news broadcast from Walter Martinez stating that Russian and Chinese ships were gathering to help infamous illegitimate government of Maduro.

http://maruangaritablog2.blogspot.com/2014/03/shame-disformation.html

I apologize to everyone who read my Twitter message about Russian and Chinese ships. As I stated on my blog2:

"Please know that I with concern forwarded news release provided by Journalist Walter Martinez that Russian and Chinese ships were gathering to go to Venezuela. I knew Walter Martinez, and I helped him out on a few projects since 1992 in Venezuela and Washington, D.C. He had won journalist awards, so  I made the mistake to believe his report."

I wrote that with concern I forwarded Walter Martinez's report, because I have seen many politicians and journalists who supported Venezuelan Presidents Dr. Rafael Caldera and Carlos Andrés Pérez turned to support infamous Hugo Chavez and thugs.

I am embarrassed since I should have known better than to forward a broadcast from someone who is allegedly supporting the illegitimate Maduro.  I just could not believe that Walter Martinez would report disinformation.  In these moments of reports from many sources one must verify all news until the truth comes out.  Only time will tell who reported the correct news.

Please accept my apologies for forwarding that news release.

Cordially,

Maru Angarita
