Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 28, 2008

Dear Journalists,

"Sunday's results showed that Venezuela "can not be intimidated by threats. There is a neck and neck situation here; we could even say that a bit farther, in favor of democracy; there is a country which advocates good management and there is a country which still has faith in the projects submitted by the president.” Baruta new mayor Gerardo Blyde

Even if Venezuelans are strong minded please know that there are several reports of Chavez and his thugs continuing to threaten the newly democratically elected officials, and have threatened citizens with violence. The link below is to picture of the Director of Education in Miranda state "flipping the bird" to followers of the newly elected mayor as quoted above published on one of the newspapers.

Venezuelans need help from developed governments and international organizations to restore democracy and end corruption.
