Some of you may recall that Chavez and María Isabel Rodríguez divorced a few years ago after reports of severe domestic violence. The rumors were that the former First Lady checked herself in to the Clinica Avila http://www.clinicaelavila.com/ after she was allegedly attacked by Chavez. Those who saw her reported at the time that the former First Lady had major bruises.
