Venezuela's Political Disaster - October 7, 2006

As previously announced, Venezuelans marched today in Caracas supporting the Opposition candidate Manuel Rosales as reported in the link below from Globovision:

Throughout the day I received emotional e-mails from those who attended the march very pleased by the outcome which surpassed the amount of people expected. However, in contrast with the mass of people attending the march, and the reports from private television networks, the Chavez's television network was showing allegedly inaccurate live images of the march which may had been taken prior to the crowds gathering.

Venezuelans need the help of international organizations to oversee that democracy is enforced in the upcoming December presidential election:

Venezuelans are very concerned by the presence the of Carter Center representatives as possible observers who are blamed for allegedly not seeing electronic voting fraud during the Recall Referendum.
