Venezuela's Political Disaster - October 4, 2006
Venezuelans are preparing to march in Caracas on Saturday, October 7, in support of the Opposition Candidate Manuel Rosales. A large crowd is expected to walk at Avenida Libertador.
While Venezuelans are actively working to have democratic elections, there are reports that Chavez is using disinformation concerning his own marches in Caracas as reported in the link below showing what Chavez's television station reported and what satelite images show at the same time:

The Inter-American Press Association (IAPA) concluded that regional press has experienced a serious backlash in Venezuela as reported in El Universal newspaper article "IAPA condemns violation of rights in Venezuela" in the link below:

It seems that President Jimmy Carter continues to be actively involved in Venezuela's politics and has sent observers for the December presidential elections as indicated in the next link:

This action is against the will of Venezuelans who blame President Carter for allowing Chavez to allegedly cheat the electronic voting results for the Referendum to remove him from office.

After the outrageous Chavez's speech at the United Nations General Assembly on September 20 has there been any comments from President Carter about this embarrassing situation?
