“C” for conciliation

On this April 11, 2012 ten  years after the murder of innocent and unarmed Venezuelan civilians by government snipers, and the failed coup d’état against Hugo Chavez the nation seems worst than ever.

Venezuelans have lived through the worst time in history under the whims of an unfit leader as is Hugo Chavez.   Please know that many Venezuelans suffer from traumatic stress under the hostile environment filled with lack of respect and mental instability of Hugo Chavez.  The good news is that all the bad times should end eventually.  Opposition leader and presidential candidate Henrique Capriles Radonski calls for conciliation to the morale of Venezuelan citizens.  He urged the government to stop confrontation and hatred.

Capriles Radonski: When I left jail, I did not long for revenge

"There are spouses who do not talk because of politics. There are mothers whose children do not talk to each other because of politics. The division was encouraged," the governor of the state of Miranda said.

Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat wrote about Hugo Chavez’s public recognition of his illness and warns of havoc if Hugo Chavez  “wins” the upcoming election scheduled for October 7, 2012.

Venezuelans have hope that the opposition candidate Henrique Capriles Radonski will be the new president, but worry about Hugo Chavez’s algorithms manipulating the results of the election. The International Court of Justice, busy at it is, should make time to prosecute Hugo Chavez for fraud if the alleged algorithms and open violation of the vote are true.

Venezuelans need help from world leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.
