For the last several weeks the Venezuelan press has reported on oddities concerning the financial relationship between China, Hugo Chavez, PDVSA and now Iran. El Nacional newspaper reported that money provided by China to Venezuela is going to fund Iranian enterprises:
Venezuelan Congressman Miguel Ángel Rodríguez denounced that Hugo Chavez may be doing business with China involving several ($32) billions of dollars without asking Congress. The video explains the document involving the Oil Minister which is called a fraud against the Venezuelan Constitution, and Venezuela’s oil company PDVSA.

Members of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) meeting in Caracas on December 2, 2011 must be aware of the dealings that Hugo Chavez is doing and lookout for the wellbeing of Venezuelan citizens. There is concern since Chavez gives oil to Caribbean nations (and China) at a discounted rate that the members’ ethics may be questionable. Chavez is also making a huge deal out of this meeting cancelling schools, and taking high security measures which he had actively neglected for Venezuelan citizens.

Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat who was a career diplomat for several decades wrote his column outraged on how the Ministry of Foreign Service “La Cancilleria” has been taken apart by low education standards, and chaos with job assignments to people only loyal to infamous Hugo Chavez, and who dare not to speak a word against the infamous leader. Just imagine microphones, videos, and other surveillance taken place by Cubans loyal to Chavez monitoring the staff.
