It is Hugo Chavez’s responsibility
Revised and updated
Dear Journalists,
There is controversy in the Venezuela’s Supreme Court allowing Leopoldo Lopez to be a presidential candidate. It stated that the verdict of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR Court) in favor of the political leader is not enforceable.
It seems that everyday Hugo Chavez cares more for Cuba and less for Venezuelans while the abused nation is in need of leadership, and civility.
On October 16, 2011 Maria Corina Machado, opposition member of Venezuela’s National Assembly, was assaulted by Chavez’s supporters in Turmero while campaigning. She was injured in the head and there are reports that an abrasive substance was thrown. Maria Corina Machado reported on Facebook that she was injured. However. she continued her campaign visit.
