Venezuela's Political Disaster - June 26, 2007

Dear Journalists,

Venezuelan journalists are getting ready to protest tomorrow on their "Day of the Journalist" against Chavez's abuse of human rights including freedom of speech:

Journalists and supporters will march in Caracas June 27 starting at 2:00 PM.

In the meantime, Venezuelans are amazed of how Chavez has cleaned up the city for the arrival of foreign visitors attending the Copa América 2007 soccer tournament as reported by El Gusano de Luz. I have placed a link to that article on my blog2 as indicated below:

Reuters reports in the article published by The Washington Post "Venezuela's Chavez seen wanting office "for life":

Insecurity, "malignant narcissism" and the need for adulation are driving Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's confrontation with the United States, according to a new psychological profile.

Eventually, these personality traits are likely to compel Chavez to declare himself Venezuela's president for life, said Dr. Jerrold Post, who has just completed the profile for the U.S. Air Force.
