Venezuela's Political Disaster - May 24, 2007

Dear Journalists,

Venezuelans banged pots and pans (cacelorazo) in many cities at 8:00 PM this evening protesting the announced closure of Radio Caracas Television (RCTV).

Please know that in 2004 infamous Chavez banned the banging of pots and pans.

At the same time, Chavez sized all television networks and radio stations to blast all the support that Venezuelans are getting to stop the closure of RCTV.
