The Real Banana Republic Leader

Updated

Dear Journalists,

In memory of Carlos Andrés Pérez, former democratic
President of Venezuela (1974-79 and 1989-93).

Hugo Chavez seems to continue to lead with deception. Just a few days ago, as previously reported, Chavez is trying under heavy opposition to take over 20,000 hectares of land from the south of Lake Maracaibo to allegedly use to build housing for the victims of floods. However, report from agronotas explain that Chavez had signed agreements with Russia to grow bananas for export. "En cuanto al banano, una empresa mixta ruso venezolano se instalará en Venezuela para la explotación de 20.000 hectáreas . Ese plátano irá directo a Rusia, que es un alto consumidor pero no puede producirlo.”

The agronotas report also explains that the recent expropriation of Hato Piñero from Venezuelan farmers has been given as a gift to Lybia.

Evo Morales llega a Maracaibo y comienza recorrido por la Guajira con Chávez

Any one who has studied Venezuelan history has read about dictator Juan Vicente Gomez who gave oil production to the United States taking only a small percentage of benefits mainly because at the time there were no Venezuelan citizens with oil production knowledge. However, at this time, many Venezuelans are educated, and what Hugo Chavez seems to be doing is only a major abuse of power.

Diego Arria Chávez y el poder

Venezuelans are hostages of Hugo Chavez who is operating disregarding democracy, and the will of the Venezuelan majority.

Venezuelans need the aid from the International Court of Justice, and world leaders, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Cordially,
