Caught on Tape

Dear Journalists,

Another picture documenting Chavez's police brutality against an unarmed student in the garden city of Maracay is circulating the Internet. This time a National Guard commented that this type of abuse is more in the style of Saddam Hussein or Idi Amin:

Venezuelans finally are realizing that Chavez has kept the nation hostage for many years while shamelessly taking money from the middle class to finance his imperialistic dreams. This year Chavez devalued the currency and is punishing Venezuelans to earn half of their profits to allegedly finance his new television station in Nicaragua. Today the press reports that former loyal Chavez’s supporters are demanding him to resign:

The following link to video showing Chavez’s camera staff overhearded saying to place rocks on a student’s purse while she was overcome by tear gas is widely circulating the Internet:

“Al parecer a Mario Silva y sus amigos de Ávila TV no les dio tiempo de editar el video grabado el lunes 25/01 en la protesta de los estudiantes de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, en el cual se escucha claramente -en el segundo 9- cómo el camarógrafo le dice al efectivo de la Policía Metropolitana, “siémbrale unas piedras” en el bolso de una ucabista que es retenida luego de la represión con gases lacrimógenos.”

Chavez is a coward and may not handle reality. Further, Chavez has become increasingly abusive with citizens barbarically attacking unarmed students:

Analysis: Chavez's socialist project badly hobbled

“A crime rate so alarming that police no longer release complete murder statistics, even as Venezuelans consistently deem crime their No. 1 concern. The government reported 12,257 homicides in the first 11 months of 2009, putting Venezuela among Latin America's most violent countries.”

Venezuelan journalists released a press bulletin denouncing Chavez’s new laws are fraudulent:

Leyes ordenadas por Chávez son un fraude contra la Constitución’

Venezuelans need help to restore democracy!
