UPDATE:
Recent Violence in Venezuela
Press Statement

Dear Journalists,
First of all, please accept my apologies for sending so many
Twitts when the students’ protests started. Twitter temporarily suspended my
account, and I had the chance to explain to Twitter what was going on including
the fact that the Venezuelan infamous officials blocked Twitter messages from
Venezuela. I live in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and I am an
American citizen born in Venezuela.
There is havoc in Venezuela. As some of you may have read,
students have been abused by police, and the National Guard. The police killed
three students including one by blows to his body, others with bullets on their
heads. There are reports of students who were raped by police and NG. There is
a photo circulating which does not seem Photoshop edited of one male student
forced to have oral sex with at least two police or NG. There are reports that
there are Cuban citizens serving as police officers and NG in Venezuela.
I have loved ones actively participating in the protests in
different cities, and while I am worried sick about their well-being, they must
protest. Venezuela has turned out to be a nation ran by moral turpitude
officials, and sociopaths including infamous illegitimate Nicolas Maduro who
forced himself in as president while not having the votes nor the
qualifications to run a nation.
I will post updates to my blog news as needed, and send Twitts notifying updates. This is to avoid further issues with Twitter, and not to be considered spam to world leaders and government officials.
THE
ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES MUST ENFORCE THE DEMOCRATIC CHARTER IN
VENEZUELA!
The
International Court of Justice, busy at it is, should make time to prosecute
Hugo Chavez’s thugs who survived him for abuse of power, fraud, and more fraud
if the alleged algorithms and open violation of the vote are true.
Venezuelans
need help from world leaders to assure the safety of the opposition leaders,
and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela
and restore democracy.
Cordially,
Maru Angarita
