Venezuelans living in Florida are at a loss after Hugo Chavez ordered the Consulate in Miami closed. The closure announcement came abruptly after the consul was deported back to Venezuela as reported by CNN in the link below. Thousands of Venezuelans living in Florida had registered to vote in the upcoming presidential elections. Is this a way for Hugo Chavez to cheat in the election results by blocking citizens from their right to vote?

Venezuelans end 2011 with Hugo Chavez at his peak behavior of irresponsible and wacky paranoia blaming the United States of America for causing cancer to five Latin American leaders. Of course, the infamous leader’s narrow vision cannot understand that environmental pollution (e.g. leaded gasoline), terrible nutrition, and bad habits may be the ones causing cancer to the leaders and to thousands of individuals (humans and animals). Death threats against opposition candidate

Dear Journalists,

Ambassador Diego Arria who is a pre-candidate for president was assaulted while giving a conference at the Venezuelan Central University. Several alleged Hugo Chavez’s supporters interrupted the conference throwing tear gas, and then attacking Ambassador Arria hitting him repeatedly on his back. The thugs surrounded the participants with three motorcycles circulating the participants and said that if Ambassador Diego Arria were to return they will kill him. Hugo Chavez is responsible for the safety of Venezuelan citizens and should not allow any type of aggression.

On December 4 the opposition presidential pre-candidates held a second debate, but this time took place at Venevision network. Sadly, Venevision’s format for the debate was awful which made the debate a terrible presentation. Some of us who watched from abroad via Livestream provided by newspaper El Universal had to endure technical difficulties. The pre-candidates presented their ideas clearly, and I continue with my conviction that there are two top candidates for president, and that the other candidates should be part of the immediate leadership.

In support of Egyptian blogger Aliaa Elmahdy

Earlier this week Venezuelan pre-presidential candidates presented their ideas to the nation on how to fix the current political chaos. While all of the candidates have the basic same idea they differ in experience, courage, and fields enabling them to get the work done. Personally, I would like the most experienced as president and the rest in the immediate group/cabinet. I asked a few Venezuelan voters, and they are proud of the work that the pre-candidates have accomplished as current leaders. The fact is that their presentation was very refreshing, intelligent, civil and respectful in contrast with the abuse of power that Hugo Chavez represents. The pre-candidates plan to debate again the first week of December.

Ambassador Diego Arria announced during the debate that he will be on his way to the International Criminal Court (ICC) The Hague, Netherlands to file official complaint against Hugo Chavez for crimes against humanity.

Many do not believe his illness, especially when his demeanor always looks pathetic, so it is hard to tell. The infamous leader is back in Venezuela allegedly following Cuban cancer treatment.

Hugo Chavez has been referred to as a cancer to Venezuelans in addition to as Venezuelans’ worst enemy. His infamous staff have been allegedly providing disinformation to reporters, and keeping up a farce about Chavez’s health. Sooner or later we all knew that some truth was going to spill out of the bucket of lies.

Is the infamous leader going to realize now “ahora” while he is under much needed sedation that Venezuela’s hospitals have been neglected as well? He should have given the US$10m gift to Uruguay’s hospital to Venezuela. It seems that Hugo Chavez has been disinformed to provide to other countries instead of resolving the immediate critical financial problems in Venezuela.

WASHINGTON, DC – After several months of calling for U.S. government action to sanction Venezuela’s state run oil company Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) for doing business with Iran, Chairman of the Western Hemisphere Subcommittee Connie Mack (FL-14) welcomed the State Department’s decision to finally sanction Venezuela’s state-owned oil company today by stating:

“The sanctions on PDVSA are an important step in the right direction for U.S. policy toward the region; however, we must acknowledge that PDVSA’s shipments are only one example of Hugo Chavez’s support for the terrorist supporting Iranian regime.”

Reports of Iranian missile bases in Venezuela, the increasing presence of Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, and yesterday’s sanctioning of Venezuelan Military Industries Company show just how dangerous the Venezuela-Iranian relationship has become.

Hugo Chavez announced that he is resting because of a knee injury as reported during his infamous seizing of networks on Sunday. Hopefully, this is not a cover-up to take care of other businesses including the alleged Iranian missiles in the Paraguana peninsula as commented by General Fernando Ocho Antich, Venezuela’s former Defense Minister and Foreign Minister. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos is an intelligent and educated man, and perhaps the extradition of Walid Makled to Venezuela was the correct action to take for Colombians; however, Makled should have been sent to the U.S.A. for prosecution.

Following the declarations made by infamous Venezuelan terrorist Walid Makled it is obvious that Hugo Chavez may had been aware that there were hundreds of tons of food stuck in containers at Puerto Cabello ruled by Makled. Venezuelans suffered years without basic goods, and general food supplies to their daily diet having to visit supermarkets lacking variety of items.
